About Garth
An editor who thinks like a director. A director who thinks in edits.
I'm a Canadian editor, story editor and director with more than 25 years of experience across factual television, documentaries, promos and branded content. My work spans broadcast and digital, from field production and story development through picture lock and delivery.
I've directed more than 40 episodes of Timber Kings and worked on series for CBC, National Geographic, HGTV, Discovery and others. I'm a British Columbia resident based on Vancouver Island. My work has taken me to Anchorage, Mumbai, Moscow and Munich, as well as locations in Costa Rica.
